Canadian Masters’ Alpine Team (CMAT):
The criteria for CMAT for the upcoming 2019 season has changed slightly. For those that may have missed it, here is a  link to the newsletter that covered this and the reasons for the changes

New this year are ski straps emblazoned with be Canadian Alpine Masters’ logo.

The straps will soon be available from your Provincial Rep and/or at upcoming races; only $10/pair to take care of your skis and support Masters!
Thank you to Victoria Fenninger for her design and taking care of our order.
Sponsorship:
A major source of revenue for the Canadian Alpine Masters is from the many sponsors who support us with their contributions that are auctioned off at our three major events being the Eastern, Western and National Championships. The most significant of these is from Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing www.wiegele.com who has contributed a 2-day package for each of these three events for several years. In recognition of this, we have offered Mike naming rights for one of our regional events. Mike has chosen this to be the “Mike Wiegele Eastern Canadian Masters’ Alpine Championships”. Additionally, he has very generously agreed to repeat this fabulous contribution for these same three events in 2019. THANK YOU Mike and Bonnie for such tremendous support of the Canadian Alpine Masters!!!
US Eastern Masters’ Championships:
This year, the US Eastern Masters’ Championships will be taking place 25 – 27 January at Stratton, Vermont, consisting of two SG, GS & SL; see Race Notice for more information. Besides being a blast, at a great hill, with super friendly and good caliber racers, this event falls on dates where there are no races on our National Calendar, so register now! The sooner you do so, the earlier your start in your age group!!
Wishing all of you happy and safe holidays, with as many turns on the snow as you dream for;
I ski because I was born.
I ski for the dance on white gold.
I ski because mountains and sky exist.
In perfect harmony between the two.
