Master’s Competitor Card:
A reminder to register online at https://registration.alpineontario.ca/default.aspxfor the upcoming season by selecting the Master’s National Card (select the ‘AOA 2017/18 Season Registration Masters’ program) or the Master’s FIS Card (select the ‘AOA 2017/18 Season Registration (FIS)’ program). The Master’s National Card is the best option if you intend racing in more than one event – refer to the fee schedule at http://www.alpineontario.ca/online-program-registration/alpine-ontario-fees/
Note: A Master’s competitor card is required for sanctioned events only and for the two races in the Interclub series if you are an « outsider ».

Masters’ Training Camps:
Six weeks of slalom training is offered by Fenninger Racing on Tuesday and/or Wednesday evenings, from 09/10 January to 13/14 February, at North York Ski Centre. Registration is open at http://www.fenningerracing.com/forms/16458-Register-for-SL-Training-At-Earl-Bales-2017-18
Helmets:
Alpine Canada Alpin (ACA) released their 2017-18 National Rules & Policies and National Competition documents that all PSOs must adhere to; this stipulates that for all ACA sanctioned Masters’ races that helmets must « be in accordance with FIS compliant rules ». ACA have interpreted that helmets must be certified to specification ASTM 2040 EN 1077 A and must pass an additional specific test under EN 1077 but at a higher speed of 6.8 m/s. Helmets that meet these requirements contain the non-removable label (under the top gel coat) reading « Conform to FIS Specifications RH 2013 ».
