Master’s Weekend Card for 18+ Athletes

  • The name of this card may vary between provinces and is generally purchased through the PSO* where the race is being held. Note: Not all provinces issue this type of card.
  • Categorized as “Masters 1 Series (M1)” under the Recreational Categories on Alpine Canada Points.
  • It is the racer’s responsibility to ensure that this card is sufficient for the event they have registered for.
  • This card does NOT qualify the racer for the CMAT.

Master’s National Card for 18+ Athletes

  • Purchased through your PSO* from Alpine Canada.
  • Categorized as “Masters Carded (MS)” under the Competitor Categories on Alpine Canada Points.
  • Required for any sanctioned race in Canada.
  • Qualifies the racer for the CMAT.

Master’s FIS Card for 30+ Athletes

  • Purchased through your PSO* from Alpine Canada and included with the cost of the ACA Master’s National card.  Note: Some PSOs have a fee schedule with a breakdown of fees to ACA, PSO, FIS & SAIP.
  • Required for any racing outside of Canada, except for some US regional races.
  • Required for any FMC or MAS or WCM race within Canada.

Note: FIS Masters’ ski length recommendations do not apply to the Canadian Masters’ events. Please visit the Alpine Canada Alpin National Competition Rules for further information in relation to National Masters equipment standards and the FIS site for FIS Masters equipment standards.

International Racers

All non-Canadian racers who wish to enter an Alpine Canada sanctioned race must have their entries submitted by their National Ski Association to Alpine Canada at minimum 2 weeks prior to the event. Entries are to be submitted to raceentries@alpinecanada.org. Incomplete or late entries will not be accepted.
